Kim

My name is Kim and I joined the Warrington Youth for Christ team in July 2016.  I am thrilled to be working in Latchford! I work in Sir Thomas Boteler and Cardinal Newman High Schools as well as partnering with the local churches, getting involved in local youth clubs and doing detached work on Friday nights.

I am passionate about walking alongside young people, meeting them where they are, building relationships, and sharing the love of Jesus. I love to create communities of love and belonging, whether that be in our school clubs like Fresh, or in community youth projects like the youth drop-in at Westy Community Centre on a Friday night. These are safe and welcoming spaces for young people to get involved, meet new people, receive support, ask any questions they may have about God and faith, and encounter Jesus for themselves.

I also run the Warrington Youth for Christ Academy – a group for youth discipleship where young people can belong, grow in faith, and be encouraged and equipped in the talents and gifts God has given them. We want to involve young people in the mission to reach young people, and that’s what the Academy is all about!
