Penketh & Town Centre Worker

Hi, I’m Alex. I am from Warrington originally and will be the Penketh & Town Centre Youth Worker alongside Penketh High School, UTC and the Youth Zone. I have been involved in youth work for 10 years now. Before this I was the parish youth worker across 3 CofE churches in Trafford. Mainly my background is in sports-based youth work and 1-1 mentoring.

My passion is to see young people do greater things than I ever will. I’ve seen God warm the coldest hearts and calm the most restless people. I can’t wait to see what amazing things God does in the town centre! Long term I would love to see disciples raised wanting to pursue a closer relationship with Jesus.

I love to play football as much as I can and love using it as a tool to build relationships with others. I follow five football teams and have run two half marathons!
