“Look at what I’ve made!”
This is how many conversations start in Fresh after-school club, full of creative young people who draw pictures, compose songs, design characters, and write stories. I’m often met with a queue of young people who want to show me all of the wonderful things they’ve been upto.
However, on our first week back from the summer holidays, I was met with a Year 11 boy who isn’t one of the usual suspects. But this time, he too wanted to show me something he’d made.
