A year of breakthrough:
What can say about this year? How can I best describe what an incredible year it has been for Warrington Youth for Christ in the Padgate and Woolston areas of Warrington? We’ve seen God bless us in Padgate and Woolston with a new school, increased opportunities in working with incredible young people and a renewed relationship in the joint youth club we run in partnership in Padgate. God is on the move and he is using us to reach new young people.
It’s been a tremendous privilege to start a brand new relationship with a brand new school and within the short time we have been there we have seen God’s blessing in full force. Specifically in mentoring we have seen great relationships built and young people come through their difficult situations and come out the other side stronger people. We’ve been given the opportunity to voice our Christian points of view in debate days and even an opportunities to do extra curriculum activities in the future and we thank God for every one of the opportunities.
In the youth club in Padgate our relationship with Sue Emery and the team at the community centre has been strengthened and the youth club there has benefited as a result. I think it appropriate that we as Warrington Youth for Christ voice our appreciation to Sue emery for the incredible support she has been in fundraising and also encouraging us as an organisation.
It has been an incredible year, one that just keeps going from strength to strength and I can’t wait to see what God does in Padgate and Woolston this year! One of our key goals at Warrington youth for Christ is to have strong partnerships with local churches and that my goal for this year!
