We believe the word of God is has the power to change lives, and we want to see every young person have the opportunity to own a Bible if they want one, so we are putting a big focus this year on Bible distribution.
We are currently working with Good News for Everyone (previously the Gideons) to distribute Bibles to young people across Warrington, and we kicked things off last month with an assembly led by Jon in Padgate Academy. Focussing on the the fact that the Bible is our “lifecode”, sharing with Year 7s about the sacrifices people have made throughout history to preserve this book, and that it is freely available for us today. 87 young people took a Bible home with them, along with videos and follow-up material to help them to read it. Praise God!
